So this weekend we went to Cost Plus to purchase a case of bundaberg ginger beer.. the BEST ginger beer available. Straight from Australia into your belly, made specifically to quell the uneasy rumblings of a pregnant woman's tummy.

While rambling through Cost Plus, I find a case.. so I pick it up & carry it around as we continue shopping. Penny says "ooo! get a trolly so we can have two cases!"

Now, I'm a very "hip" husband. I know that when my wife is pregnant, she's going to be needing things to eat and drink at all hours of the day and night.. so if she wants a ginger-beer at 5:30 am, the LAST thing I want to do is have to try and explain that the place isn't open yet. I want to be able to hop out of bed, run to the fridge, grab two ginger beers (one cold, one room temperature), and provide her with exactly what she needs.

So I think "yeah! two cases is a great idea!". So I balance the case of ginger beer on a little wicker stool-thing & leave penny to watch it while I go get a cart.

When I come back, Pen is looking around anxiously.. I ask what's wrong & she points to the case of ginger beer on the floor, with glorious liquid pouring out of the bottom of it.

"What happened?" I asked.. thinking that someone must have come by and knocked it over or something.

"Well, I was watching it, and then I saw that they had these Malteses (little chocolate malt ball thingies) & thought 'ooo! Malteses!' adn went to go grab one..."

So cute. :) Unfortunately, they only had one more case of the ginger beer.. so it looks like I'll have to go back & get more.

Oorrrr.. order some on-line!
