imagine hearing that about 150 times per minute.

whub whub whub whub whub

now imagine hearing that from a little speaker connected to a tube which is connected to some jelly that happens to be smeared on your pregnant wife's belly.

whub whub whub whub whub

that's the sound of our baby's heart!!

this morning penny and I had our second doctor's appt & got to hear the little bub's heart going strongly at 150 bpm!

I almost started adding little dings and "oonce" noises.. kids got good rhythm!

so far all the tests are going well.. penny's in great health, and so is the baby!

whub whub whub whub whub

it's the coolest sound in the world. That, and the little pops and whoops we could hear as penny digested breakfast. :)

That is so cool guys, we also heard our bubs heart for the first time today, we bought one of those dopplers as we would't get to hear it until Mid March where I would be nearly 28 weeks pregnant - not cool. Pete found it tonight and was so chuffed!!! Ahh, aren't we just a bunch of very proud parents to be.

I think that it's so amazing that you guys can go to the doc visits together! Thank you sooooo much for sharing this with us. Even the digesting part.;)
