Aurora 3 weeks old
Aurora is doing very well, and she is 3 weeks old today. Happy 3 weeks bubby!
We had her weighed again last week at the lactation consultants office and she is already up to a heathly 8lbs 10oz so she putting on the 'right' amount of weight apparently - about 1/2 a pound a day.
Its been really helpful having a extra pair of hands around with mum being here, and Aurora seems to be recognising voices now and is making more squawks, gurgles, moans and blips everyday... and we have had a few hints of smiles as well. Still a bit hard to tell whether they are genuine smiles or kind of flukes... although we are pretty sure Nanny got a genuine one the other day. Nanny was very pleased with that!
We've had her on her activity mat a couple of times as well and she seems very interested in the mirror (hehehe) and she waves her wee arms around, and kicks her little legs and makes lots of little noises - so we assume from that shes having a good time!?! ;)
Otherwise life revolves around her feeding, sleeping and changing at around 2 hour or so intervals, so getting allot done seems to be out of the question - hence not many emails from me or blog postings recently!
