This was aurora's first christmas.. and it was a good one! We had the some of the family 'round our house for a delicious dinner that Penny created.. lamb shanks and mashed potatoes! YUM! And then an awesome desert that I couldn't eat 'cuz I was too full.. but the rest of the family made quick work of it. Zllurp! It was meringues with fresh cream and fresh berries.

Then we did the Kiwi tradition of Christmas Crackers.. for the jews among you, christmas crackers are little wrapped things with toys inside that you pull apart. They POP and the winner gets to wear the included paper crown, read the joke, and enjoy the toy. Aurora wore her crown proudly, and displayed a healthy dose of drool for all to covet.
