32 week ultrasound
So we had another ultrasound scan this morning, everything with bub appears to be where it should be and all the things that they look for have come up 'perfect'. Her weight is 4 lb. 13oz at this stage, which they have calculated from how big her legs, head and arms are. We also had them check once again that she is a she, and she is!
She appears to be developing very nicely, Ive got good amniotic fluid levels and the umbilical cord's flow rates for blood and oxygen are right on target. Yippy she's getting enough oxygen!
Unfortunately we weren't given any print outs to take home with us, so we cant post any new pics. Most unfair as it is really tough for me to see the computer screen when they are doing the scan so its a bit disappointing not having something to take home and look at! Luckily Jason gets a good view though... maybe he will draw me a picture.
The only cause for concern is that my placenta is still very low - not over the cervix but close to it. A little worrying because if the doctors think its too close they will probably make me have a c-section, which I REALLY REALLY don't want! :(
So back for another scan in 4 weeks to monitor the location and then the Dr will probably give a recommendation about whether I can push her out 'naturally' or not! - Penelope
