Last weekend mom took Aurora over to Kyle's place to hang out for a bit where she proceeded to have a blast running around the living room with a soccer ball.

This has been a really tough few weeks.. both aurora & pen were over in NZ for 3 weeks seeing family while I've been home in the states. It's been awful! I missed them both SO much it was really horrible. But seeing them on thursday was awesome.. aurora's changed so much! she's talking quite a bit now & has a huuuge vocab. We'll try and put a list together, but it grows daily, so it's a bit hard to keep up.

Her personality is really shining through, too.. she's such a happy kid who just LOVES people and being around others. And she's also quite the daredevil.. no fear about climbing on things or getting down or anything really.. there, she takes after her mother I think. :)

This weekend mom and aurora went over to the children's museum in Palo Alto.. a place I used to go quite a bit as a kid! They has a blast, and as you can see.. aurora loves those ducks!!

So aurora's really advanced over the past few weeks.. she's now walking around everywhere & has started talking quite a bit as well. Her first word was "hi", but now her regular repitoire includes "baby", "bea! (bean)", "miioo (milo)", "doh (dog)", "boo!", "wataa (water)", "MOOOOOORRE? (more, or please put on the muppet movie)", "papah", "nana", "daddeh", "mummummum", "buh (bird)", and "niiii (nice)".

She's super cute and really excited about things.. if you ask her to say something she'll definitely try and repeat it, and gets really stoked about learning things & pointing out stuff she recognizes.

This weekend she started becoming obsessed with the muppet movie, especially the rainbow connection song. If we put it on, she has to go find her Kermit puppet, then watches the movie and clicks the mouse on the desktop (we're playing it on the computer right now because the dvd player's busted). If we turn off the movie she bangs the mouse and goes "MOOOOOOORRREE?" until we play it again. Then she smiles one of her beautiful winning smiles.

she's just so awesome! :)

so we were away in vegas for a few days, and grandma wendy watched aurora. When we got back, aurora was VERY happy to see us (well, she hugged me & gave pen a bit of a hard time.. but she came 'round).

The cutest thing tho was when mom showed her a picture of the three of us.. pen, me, and aurora, and aurora went up and pointed to it and then pointed to us. My heart just exploded. :)

Sorry it's been a while since we've posted.. aurora's been pretty darn awesome as usual. She's laughing and smiling and really connecting with you when you look at her.

We're getting ready for Aurora's first x-mas, which is pretty cool. We've even got a tree! Yes, that's right.. jewboy here went tree shopping.

Anyway, I'm hoping that we'll post some videos and such over the christmas holiday.. I'd love to post some of aurora looking at the christmas tree lights. So cute! :)

Oh! And I've moved the blog over to google's new blogger system.. so if there are any weirdnessesses, let me know!
