This blog represents our journey in purchasing and fixing up our new house in Emerald Hills. Penny and I are very excited to share the challenges that this house will present. We fell in love with the place from the first moment, and can't wait to see what we are able to accomplish!
To pour the concrete for the retaining wall, they first build these cool structures out of styrafoam, plastic, & rebar. So instead of 1 piece of rebar holding up the entire wall (what the old wall had), we'll have a TON of rebar throughout the entire structure. It should be VERY sturdy now.
