Meet 44 adoptable dogs and cats looking for love in the Tulsa area | Pets

Look at that award-winning smile! Lucas flashes him outside all the time, where he enjoys playing with toys, being chased around the yard, or just sniffling around. He never smiles in his kennel where he spends most of his day. Lucas is one of those sweet dogs who just can’t stand being locked up in the shelter and finds the whole experience extremely stressful and depressing. He would like to get out of the shelter as soon as possible by going to a foster family or forever!

Lucas doesn’t seem to be responsive with other dogs and seems to already have basic training on board, but can be very pushy and nervous at times.

At 2 years old and 53 pounds, Lucas has a nice size, especially since much of his weight is a soft, silky golden coat! Because Lucas can be a lot when he’s stressed or excited, he’s looking for a family without children under 12. He has been neutered, vaccinated, tested for heartworm (negative), microchipped and is up to date on parasite prevention.
