Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) Adoptable Dogs of the Week

Celebrate the Easter weekend by welcoming a new pet into your home. The Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) highlights two dogs available for adoption now.

Topher, 3 year old mixed breed dog

Shelter staff describe Topher as a gentle and patient man dog who is highly motivated by treats. Although he is not quick to play with other dogs, he interacts well with them.

Topher is leash trained and generally well behaved. Having been at the shelter since February 12, he is ready to find his forever home.

Zippy, 2 year old mixed breed dog

An active and playful mixed breed, Zippy has truly earned his name! He loves to play tug of war, fetch squeaky toys and is looking for a family that can keep up. He would work well in a multi-dog home, but prefers to play with dogs of his own size.

A resident of the shelter since March 2, Zippy is trained to sit, stay and come.
